Turmeric (Curcuma longa).
Many eastern cultures heavily incorporate this yellow-gold powder into many traditional dishes. Turmeric is even used in ceremonial cleansing rituals. Some natural and holistic practitioners rely on replacing traditional western NSAIDs with turmeric.

Resveratrol.
A natural phenol made by plants to fight their own infections. This makes resveratrol a natural anti-inflammatory that has been shown to reduce C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a). At higher doses, it has favorable cholesterol and overall cardiovascular benefits.

Boswellin® (Bowellia serrata).
The resin from frankincense has been used for millennia to reduce joint and respiratory inflammation. Studied for its positive effects in rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, cancer, and even Parkinson’s disease. Boswellia reduces the cytokine flare.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera).
This super well-studied adaptogen lowers stress reaction while assisting in total sleep and sleep quality. In Ayurvedic medicine, ashwagandha helps improve overall energy and memory. Also, it is used to lower cancer risk and inflammatory cellular factors.

SAM-e (s-adenosyl-methonionine).
Contains both sulfur and methionine that reduce inflammation and recycles homocysteine with the aid of a methylating agent. It has recently been identified to aid in at least 65 unique reactions in the body and is used in osteoarthritis, depression, and anti-cancer assistance.

Take 1 by mouth daily, or as directed by your doctor. It is tolerated well with or without food in most people, but some find it best tolerated with at least a small meal twice daily.
